ABOUT
I have been a creative soul my entire life and have always needed an outlet for my creativity. That creativity took on many forms over the years until I received my BA in Studio Art from Arizona State University where I learned to paint for the first time.
After graduation I became a mural artist, painting mainly children's room and lots of animals! One of my clients asked if I could create a painting to hang on their dining room wall and I slowly transitioned from murals to taking on commissions and was able to make a living as an artist for several years.
I took almost 15 years off while raising my children and only recently got back into painting. I am continually exploring the medium of paint and experimenting with colors, techniques and styles, pushing the boundaries of where I've been and where I'm going as an artist. I don't like to be stuck in a box, painting the same thing over and over like so many artists tend to do. My joy comes from creating the work and seeing others find appreciation in it.
